Self Archiving Policy
Self-Archiving Policy
Journal of Digital Learning and Education (JDLE) is an open access journal. Authors retain copyright and license their articles under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), as stated in the Copyright Notice.
What authors may deposit
- The submitted version (preprint), the accepted manuscript, and the published version (PDF) may be deposited in institutional repositories, subject repositories, preprint servers, and personal or institutional websites.
- Deposit may be made at any time after submission, without an embargo period.
Conditions
- The deposited version must carry a full citation to the published article in JDLE, including the DOI, and a link to the article on the journal website.
- The CC BY-SA 4.0 license must be stated, and any redistribution must follow its terms (attribution and share-alike).
- A preprint should be updated with the citation and DOI once the article is published.
Metadata and discoverability
JDLE deposits article metadata with Crossref and makes it available for harvesting by indexing services, so that deposited copies and the version of record can be linked through the DOI.
Questions about self-archiving can be sent to the editorial office through the Contact page.
